Job Title: Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Michigan
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) team in Michigan.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to cardiovascular health conditions.
  • Work within the CVU, a unit specializing in cardiology, including procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.
  • Care for post-op open heart surgery patients, as well as those with congestive heart failure and undergoing electrophysiology studies.
  • Assist with national clinical trials managed by the NISUS research department within the CVU.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular nursing experience.
  • Willingness to travel within Michigan.
  • Comfortability with EKG monitoring.
  • Ability to float to similar units as needed.
Certification Requirements:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
State License Requirements:
  • Valid Michigan RN license.
