Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join a nationwide Vaccination Initiative. This patient-facing role focuses on administering a variety of immunizations, including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines, in a retail healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, adaptable, customer-focused, and passionate about improving public health through quality patient care. PPE and vaccination supplies are provided.
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations following CDC and state guidelines.
  • Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of immunizations.
  • Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care.
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care.
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and store leadership to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Adapt to changing patient volumes and operational needs.
  • Support a positive team environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Strong clinical skills, including medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must not appear on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail clinic, public health, occupational health, or vaccination clinic experience.
  • Experience administering large volumes of immunizations.
  • Strong customer service and patient education skills.
