Position Description:

We are looking for a Natural Gas Project Manager to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Michigan offices. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and five or more years of project management experience. Autodesk Civil 3D experience is a plus. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule available after 30 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and grow design team of gas distribution systems
  • Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing
  • Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget
  • Manage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Provide design/technical expertise to project and/or coordinate as necessary with technical leads
  • Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project
  • Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks
  • Develop and maintain lasting client relationships
  • Generate additional sales through business development activities
  • Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings
  • Assist with project reports and technical presentations
  • Attend client, staff, and project meetings
  • Estimate fees, review project plans and specification
  • Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field) is preferred
Skills/Experience:
  • 5 or more years of experience in project management required
  • Experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is a plus
  • Compression station design experience is a plus
  • Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
  • Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is a plus
  • Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
