Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Analyst, FP&A - Admin, Transaction & Broker Fees supports financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for administrative fees, transaction fees, and broker fees within CVS Health's Pharmacy Services business. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A Fees, Credits, GTs, Legislative & Network Consolidation, this role contributes to the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly variance reporting for these Network P&L line items. The Sr. Analyst helps ensure fee-related financials are accurately planned, monitored, and clearly communicated to Finance leadership.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 35% - Supports the development of annual operating plan, multi-year plan, and quarterly forecasts for Admin Fees, Transaction Fees, and Broker Fees, including client-level and pharmacy-level detail.
  • 25% - Performs monthly variance analysis for fee-related P&L lines, identifying and communicating key drivers including client mix, volume, and rate changes.
  • 20% - Builds and maintains financial models supporting fee analytics, including transaction volume modeling, client-level fee rate analysis, and scenario planning.
  • 15% - Prepares reporting packages and management deliverables for fee-related financials, supporting clear and timely communication to leadership.
  • 5% - Supports ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects as directed by the Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 2-4 years of professional work experience
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills in a PBM, managed care, or health services environment
  • Familiarity with pharmacy fee structures including admin fees, transaction fees, and broker fee mechanics preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with large data sets; Tableau or similar visualization tool experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple P&L lines with accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication; ability to prepare clear management-ready reporting
  • Collaborative work style with ability to partner with Client Management, Contracting, and Operations teams

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $122,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
