Job description

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a growing cardiovascular surgical team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while providing high-quality care to cardiovascular surgery patients.


Requirements

  • Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care CVOR RN experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
  • PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire


Responsibilities

  • Assess and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Administer IV therapy and pre-operative medications
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
  • Participate in surgical site verification and safety protocols
  • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical patient care
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: $34.85 – $49.06/hr (based on experience)
