Job Description:
  • Job Profile Summary

Under direct supervision, performs entry-level routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or setup. Follows established procedures. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Positions stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Develops basic knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and experience.
Work Schedule: Mon.- Fri. 7am -3:30pm
Rate of pay: $19.55/hr.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
    • Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within establish specifications and tolerances.
    • Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
    • Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
    • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. Routinely clean and lubricate equipment.
    • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. (5S standards)
    • Follow all safety regulations.
    • Package products according to customer's specifications.
    • Help in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
    • Steel-toe shoes are required.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Stooping, bending, and moving about the plant for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Education and Experience
    • Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 0-1 year of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and Skills
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
  • Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
  • Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $15.82 - $25.24annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between15.82 to24.24. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
