Command Robbinsville is state-of-the-art book manufacturing facility, ideal for producing educational books, computer books, catalogs, annual reports, and directories.
A qualified Flat Cutter Operator will be able to perform the following tasks:
  • Lays out job to be cut on the trimmer machine
  • Inputs information determined by sheet images into trimmer computer
  • Removes paper stacks from skids and places them in trimmer to cut job
  • Operates stacker by taking paper from trimmer and loading into stacker; this paper is stacked onto another skid
  • Performs preventative maintenance of the flat cutter machine
  • Performs clean-up of machine area
  • Assist with training others as needed
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

The Flat Cutter Operator should meet the following requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to read and take measurements in standard and metric
  • Positive attitude and a focus on quality
  • Able to operate independently and as part of a team
  • Able to read and follow job tickets, labels, and instructions
  • Demonstrate the ability to focus on the task at hand and maintain consistency
  • Good understanding of all Bindery functions/procedures
  • Good organizational and time management skill
  • Be able to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
