Job description

Sims-Lohman is hiring granite fabricators with previous experience to work at our North Canton, Ohio location. We have first shift available. 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include:

- Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and equipment

- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions

- Operate fabrication machinery to cut counter tops

- Operate overhead crane to load, unload, and move granite slabs

Qualifications

- 6+ months' experience fabricating countertops highly preferred, and/or 1+ years' experience general industrial experience using hand grinder or polisher.

- Ability to use a variety of hand tools including hand grinders and hand routers

- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure

- Ability to work with heavyweight

-Ability to use an overhead crane

-Ability to multi-task between shop needs

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
