This position is located in Manchester, UK or London UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering quality customs and foreign trade services to clients across multiple industries and sectors.

We are looking for ambitious individuals who combine strong technical capability with commercial awareness, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience in customs and international trade advisory, either within consultancy, industry, government, or a related environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of customs regulations, compliance, and international trade frameworks, specifically across classification, valuation, origin, reliefs and special procedures.

  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering complex projects.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Commercial awareness and a passion for helping clients solve complex challenges.

  • A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to team growth and culture.

Desirable Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience beyond traditional customs advisory, including one or more of the following areas:

  • Excise duties and related compliance requirements.

  • Environmental and sustainability-related trade regulations, including Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and EU Deforestation Regulations (EUDR).

  • Trade remedies and trade defence measures.

  • Export controls and sanctions.

  • Supply chain and trade transformation programmes.

  • Brokerage and customs filing services.

  • Product development, digital solutions, technology-enabled service delivery, data analytics, AI, or process automation.

The Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here

You are naturally curious about global trade, economics, politics, and regulatory change. You enjoy working in a fast-moving environment and are excited by the opportunity to help build something market-leading.

You are entrepreneurial, solutions-focused, and motivated by the opportunity to create impact for clients while developing your own career.

Why Join Us?

This is a unique opportunity to join a firm that is investing heavily in its people, technology, and future growth. It has a unique culture that sets it aside from traditional tax consultancy firms.

We are building a market-leading Customs & Foreign Trade practice founded on technical excellence, innovation, and exceptional client service. As part of that journey, you will benefit from:

  • A clear and ambitious growth strategy.

  • Exposure to complex and high-profile international trade matters.

  • Opportunities to work across a broad range of industries and jurisdictions.

  • Significant investment in innovation, technology, and new service offerings.

  • Structured career development and progression opportunities.

  • Dedicated coaching, mentoring, and leadership support.

  • Access to experienced specialists and a collaborative international network.
