Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) is a global leader in the automotive manufacturing space, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of wiring harnesses, high-voltage cabling, and electric vehicle (EV) chargers. We are seeking a Customs Specialist to oversee the correct execution of all US import, exports and post entry via all transportation modes (Land/Air/Ocean).

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key required skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • US Customs Broker License required (Will require verification)
  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5-7 years' experience in Customs
  • 5-7 years of Management Experience
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
  • Reporting balance sheet proficient
  • Project Management Skills
  • Analytical and reasoning skills for escalation to manager/leadership.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Spanish preferred
  • General knowledge of Foreign Trade Policies
  • In-depth knowledge and practice of US Customs Regulations, US Imports, Exports & Post Entry
  • In-depth knowledge and practice of ACE Portal w/Trade Owner Experience

  • External Broker Sourcing Experience (e.g., Request For Proposal, Contracts, Customs Broker Management)
