We are looking for Automation Test Engineer in Washington, DC for 6+ months contract position.

Title: Automation Test Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Washington, DC

Client: Direct Client


Duties include but are not limited to:

Drive test automation strategy within the DHS ICE Agile development environment.

Research and develop new automation frameworks.

Create and maintain scripts for the Automation Library.

Identify, integrate and champion new test automation tools, ideas and approaches within the test team.

Coach and mentor other QA engineer's on automation approaches.

Partner with BA's to ensure appropriate script coverage.

Create a strategy for test automation reports and metrics.

Provide testing strategy and QA leadership to various projects and programs within DHS.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:


U.S. Citizen.


Master's Degree or 10-15 work related experience.


In-depth knowledge of automated testing approaches and frameworks.


Hands on experience scripting and developing test automation suites.


Current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.


4+ years working with test automation tools. (Selenium and QTP preferred).


Experience working with Agile, waterfall and iterative methodologies.


Excellent Analytical skills.


Strong communication skills.




Preferred but not required:


DHS' Active EOD or Suitability.


Knowledge of other automation tools such as Cucumber, Calabash and Jenkins.


Experience at Immigration Customs Enforcement.


Familiar with Case Management Systems
