Job description

The CHB Documentation Coordinator coordinates documents for entries, scanning, and filing within an assigned import team or office. May pre-key files with mandatory audits prior to transmission.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Uploading documentation: The CHB Documentation Coordinator is responsible for receiving and uploading of all necessary documentation related to CHB Customs Entries (bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and arrival notices)
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations: The CHB Documentation Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all documentation is in compliance with 19 CFR 142.6 Invoice Requirements, adequate description of the merchandise, quantities of the merchandise, values and manufacturers
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders: The CHB Documentation Coordinator works closely with their assigned CHB teams, as well as external stakeholders, such as clients and forwarders, to gather information and ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete
  • Maintaining document management systems: The CHB Documentation Coordinator is responsible for maintaining document management systems, including organizing and categorizing documents, ensuring version control, and making sure that documents are stored securely
  • Providing support and guidance to clients: The CHB Documentation Coordinator may provide support and guidance to clients to obtain the appropriate documentation required for entry
  • Timely gathering of all relevant documentation to ensure an efficient entry clearance process
  • Accurate opening of entry files
  • Tracking. monitoring and updating the status of inbound shipments
  • Prints and coordinates entry documentation
  • Tracks and traces inbound shipments

  • Uploads entry packets and documentation into operating system
  • Pre-key entries as per outlined KPIs with mandatory audit
  • Performs clerical office tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000*
Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match
* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
