About the Customer Success Manager - Digital Ads:
MarketStar is seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to support a leading digital advertising and media technology platform. In this role, you will manage customer relationships, support advertiser success, and drive account retention and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional looking to build expertise in digital advertising, account management, and customer success.
Location: Ogden, UT Hybrid
What Will You Do?

  • Manage a portfolio of advertiser accounts, serving as a trusted partner throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Support onboarding readiness and account activation to ensure successful platform adoption.
  • Build and nurture advertiser relationships, driving long-term account health and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor account activity, identify retention risks, and recognize opportunities for account growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance and performance insights to help customers achieve their business objectives.
  • Coordinate issue resolution and follow-through with internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Track active accounts, retention metrics, churn indicators, and account growth performance.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, engagement history, and account notes within CRM systems.
  • Participate professionally in client-facing and internal meetings, representing MarketStar with excellence.
  • Other applicable duties as assigned.

What Will You Need to Succeed?
  • 2-3 years of Customer Success Manager (CSM), account management, client success, or customer support experience.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and driving account health and retention.
  • Digital advertising, ad buying, media technology, or platform experience preferred.
  • Strong consultative communication, relationship-building, and follow-through skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined with CRM management and account documentation.
  • Ability to analyze account activity and identify retention risks and growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable participating in client-facing discussions and presenting professionally in virtual meetings.
  • English language proficiency required; Mandarin fluency preferred for international market coverage.
  • Ability to work standard business hours aligned with assigned region.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer success, retention, and growth objectives.

Compensation Range: $55,000 - $65,000 USD per year.
The hourly pay range for this position is $26.44 USD. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $10,000.00 USD annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
