Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Services Supervisor to oversee daily Support Services operations and ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This position provides leadership to the team, supports employee development, resolves operational issues, and assists the Support Services Manager with departmental goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, team-focused leader with financial institution experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent member service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises, schedules, and coordinates daily Support Services team activities
  • Assigns work and reviews transactions for accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Trains, coaches, and develops employees and assists with performance evaluations
  • Resolves member inquiries, account discrepancies, documentation errors, and transaction issues
  • Reviews account maintenance, new and closed accounts, dormant accounts, loan closings, disputes, IRA and shared branch transactions, and negative-balance memberships
  • Coordinates returned mail, account notices, forms, and departmental supplies
  • Prepares and reviews daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Assists with audits, internal controls, compliance, and process improvements
  • Promotes teamwork, accountability, security, and exceptional member service
  • Cross-sells credit union products and services
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive member/customer service experience in a full-service financial institution and one (1) year of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of financial institution operations, account ownership, products, services, and procedures
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations and handle sensitive issues with professionalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
  • Valid driver's license required
