Overview
The Customer Service Training Specialist is responsible for delivering training to Customer Service team members on operational procedures and best practices. This includes onboarding new employees and providing retraining to existing team members when new information or procedures are introduced. The specialist will support the Customer Service team by designing course content, creating presentations, and developing other learning materials to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
What you will need
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to create a welcoming and structured environment, fostering early engagement and confidence.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Able to perform data entry and extract information on orders.
  • Advanced ability with MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook) and SalesPad.

How you will make an Impact
  • Owns and facilitates the onboarding process of new customer service team members including scheduling, conducting training sessions, assigning LMS modules, and tracking onboarding progress in collaboration with the Training Manager and Customer Experience Leadership.
  • Create, update, and maintain SOPs, guides, and training materials.
  • Develop, maintain, and apply learning tools to encourage employee development.
  • Guide team members to their Lead/Manager on discretionary issues and determines when to redirect to other resources and channels.
  • Works closely with Customer Care Leadership to stay current on changes, challenges, and training opportunities as needed.
  • Regularly shadows other Leads and Trainers to continue improving and advancing skills as a trainer and inspire personal growth and development.
  • Coordinates weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly refresher trainings based on current trends and commonly noted training opportunities within the team - both in individual and group settings.
  • Trains and supports onboarding Customer Service Reps into their role-specific duties.
