Are you looking for looking for an interesting customer service job in a unique and exciting environment?ย ย  Or maybe you have wanted to work outside and consider yourself a people person?ย  Cross Sound Ferry's New London Terminal could be a fantastic fit for you!ย  We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to come join our team!ย  We operate a busy terminal, where we assist our customers going to Long Island, Block Island, or aboard our Lighthouse Cruises.ย  Our outside yard staff focus on checking customers in and providing direction while our ticket agents primarily work inside handling cash and resolving customer related issues.ย  We are looking for candidates that have positive attitudes, good communication skills, and are willing to learn.ย  While it can be tough working outside in different weather conditions, it can also be rewarding!ย  We have full and part time positions available both inside and outside. All positions are seasonal with a lot of year round potential.ย ย  Please apply online or directly at our New London Terminal located at 2 Ferry St., New London.
Starting Rate: $18.00/hr

Primary duties include, but not limited to:

  • Engage with and direct customers in a friendly manner
  • Check in, change reservations, and issue tickets using handheld or desktop computers and printers
  • Explain policies and procedures to customers
  • Help clean and maintain terminal
  • Watch for and report suspicious behavior
  • Outside positions require line handling to dock ferries
  • Outside positions require vehicle and pedestrian traffic control
