A Day in the Life of a Parts CSR
As a Parts CSR, your day is all about building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers keep their equipment running. Whether you're visiting customers in the field or supporting them from the dealership, you'll be a trusted resource customers can count on.
You might start your morning reviewing customer orders before heading out to visit customers throughout your assigned territory. During your visits, you'll learn about their equipment and operational needs, recommend parts and maintenance solutions, answer questions, and identify opportunities to help keep their equipment performing at its best.
Throughout the day, you'll process parts orders and returns, follow up with customers, update equipment and customer information, and collaborate with the Parts, Sales, and Service teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You may also assist customers at the parts counter, resolve concerns, support special promotions, and identify new opportunities to better serve your customers.
Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: build strong relationships, solve problems, and help customers get the parts and support they need to keep their operations moving.
What You'll Do
As a Parts Customer Service Rep, you will:
  • build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout your assigned territory
  • visit customers regularly to understand their equipment and parts needs
  • promote parts, maintenance programs, inspections, warranties, and service offerings
  • identify new sales opportunities and grow existing customer relationships
  • process parts sales, invoices, returns, and customer orders accurately
  • maintain customer profiles and equipment information
  • resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • partner with Sales and Service teams to provide complete customer solutions
  • complete customer visit documentation and activity logs
  • assist at the parts counter when needed
  • represent LandPro professionally in the community and while operating a company vehicle

What you need to be a LandPro Parts Customer Service Rep:
  • 2+ years of experience in agriculture, turf, equipment, automotive, customer service, sales, or a related industry
  • strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • ability to work independently while collaborating with teammates across multiple departments

It's a plus if you have:
  • parts sales or outside sales experience
  • knowledge of agricultural, turf, or compact construction equipment
  • experience working in a dealership or equipment-related environment
  • mechanical aptitude or the ability to understand equipment and parts applications
  • experience using inventory management or dealership software
  • familiarity with John Deere or other agricultural equipment brands
