The Quality Manager will implement, oversee and enhance quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment, leading a small team to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves implementing a quality system, managing audits, driving continuous process improvements, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting customer quality initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality assurance activities ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- Manage internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards
- Provide leadership and development for a small quality management team
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Oversee customer quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality incidents
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality management
- Experience implementing a quality management system
- 2+ years of EHS experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Expertise in root cause analysis and auditing techniques
- Knowledge of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
