Job description

The Quality Manager will implement, oversee and enhance quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment, leading a small team to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves implementing a quality system, managing audits, driving continuous process improvements, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting customer quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage quality assurance activities ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
  • Manage internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards
  • Provide leadership and development for a small quality management team
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Oversee customer quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality incidents

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in quality management
  • Experience implementing a quality management system
  • 2+ years of EHS experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Expertise in root cause analysis and auditing techniques
  • Knowledge of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
