Description: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a key customer-facing support role, responsible for managing customer orders from initial entry through final delivery. This position ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and a seamless experience throughout the order lifecycle

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal and external requirements.
  • Coordinate the expediting of products to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.
  • Communicate schedule updates and changes to both internal teams and external customers, based on customer input and evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Monitor order status throughout the production cycle and proactively notify customers of any variances.
  • Process product returns resulting from incorrect or damaged items and ensure proper resolution.
  • Provide ongoing problem-solving support to customers, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and service quality.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 2 years previous experience with customer service responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working for a Build to Print Contract Manufacture highly desirable
  • Experience working in the electrical industry, electrical wire harness or panel industry is preferred
  • Experience working for a Commercial OEM, Electrical or Electronics Distributor, Manufacturer's Representative, Systems Integrator or Wire Manufacturer is a plus
  • Familiarity with using ERP systems for quoting or order processing is beneficial
  • Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other team members and customers
  • Must have positive attitude with customer appreciation mentality
  • Ability to lift 50lbs as needed
  • Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive work for long periods of time
  • Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
  • Operate with a sense of teamwork
