Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting, with network equipment providers.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.
  • Experience with network technologies or protocols, including VXLAN, BGP EVPN, 802.1x, LACP, encryption, key management, micro‑segmentation, or ACLs.
Preferred qualifications
  • Expert level certifications or equivalent level experience (e.g., CCIE/CCDE/JNCIE).
  • Experience with working in a multi‑vendor environment.
  • Experience with large enterprise Office network design and operations in a global environment.
  • Experience in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Knowledge with Linux.
  • Excellent problem‑solving approach, coupled with communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the development of solutions for Google's Enterprise network, executing new features qualification and validation through network development, deployment, operation, and optimization.
  • Scale systems sustainably through tools and automation, and evolve systems by driving change that improves reliability and velocity.
  • Deliver network dependability and network reliability by providing secure and reliable network services to the Google Enterprise Network team’s customers.
