Job description

Summary 

The Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing front of house operations while providing excellent  customer service. The Floor Manager must have previous management experience in the  restaurant/hospitality/entertainment industry and strong attention to detail. 

Essential Functions 

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

  • Oversee front of house operations while providing excellent customer service. 
  • Ensure proper scheduling of the service team. 
  • Handle guest complaints and render decisions judiciously and tactfully. 
  • Assist with inventory and monitor supply requisitions to ensure costs are kept to a minimum without  losing quality and usage of materials. 
  • Supervise the team to include efficient staffing, team development, training, performance  management and policy enforcement. 
  • Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to  their needs. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years’ experience in restaurant/hospitality/entertainment management required. 
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
