POSITION SUMMARY

Subaru Superstore of Chandler is seeking a customer-focused and energetic Service Express Advisor to join our Service team. The Service Express Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers utilizing the dealership's Express Service Department. This position is responsible for greeting customers, identifying their maintenance needs, preparing repair orders, communicating service recommendations, and ensuring a timely and positive customer experience from vehicle check-in through completion.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive service environment while providing exceptional customer service.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet Express Service customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.

Discuss customer concerns and determine requested maintenance and service needs.

Prepare accurate repair orders and document customer concerns and requested services.

Review vehicle maintenance history and manufacturer-recommended service intervals.

Explain recommended maintenance and repair services clearly and professionally.

Provide customers with estimated completion times and service updates.

Communicate with Express Technicians regarding vehicle status, inspection results, and additional service recommendations.

Obtain customer authorization before performing additional services or repairs.

Review multi-point inspection results and communicate identified maintenance needs to customers.

Keep customers informed of delays, changes, or additional recommendations throughout the service process.

Review completed repair orders with customers and explain services performed.

Ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers promptly and professionally.

Follow up with customers as appropriate to support satisfaction and retention.

Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information within dealership systems.

Build strong customer relationships and promote repeat service business.

Maintain knowledge of Subaru maintenance schedules, warranties, recalls, service programs, and dealership promotions.

Work closely with technicians, Service Advisors, parts personnel, and management to maintain an efficient service workflow.

Meet established customer satisfaction, productivity, and department performance goals.

Follow dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and applicable safety procedures.

Work Environment:

May work indoors or outdoors and be exposed to vehicle traffic, varying temperatures, noise, and typical automotive workplace conditions.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous automotive service advisor, express advisor, dealership, or customer service experience preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to explain automotive maintenance recommendations in a clear and professional manner.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership management and manufacturer systems.

Ability to work effectively with technicians, management, and other dealership departments.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Must meet company insurance requirements.
