Job description

Position Description
The Associate Customer Relations Representative supports customers, internal teams, and order management processes at Applied Medical. This customer relations representative role keeps customer orders accurate and on time, maintains clear communication with external customers, and coordinates with departments including Credit, Field Operations, and Shipping. The Associate Customer Relations Representative contributes directly to a positive customer experience and efficient order fulfillment across Applied Medical.
This position is on-site and works a set schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders accurately and follow established Customer Relations processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with external customers to address inquiries regarding orders, products, returns, shipping status, and account related matters.
  • Communicate with internal teams, including Credit, Field Operations, and Shipping, to coordinate order-related activities.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of customer interactions and order updates.
  • Comply with Applied Medical safety rules, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Assist with department tasks and cross-functional projects as assigned.
  • Support continuous improvements that enhance customer experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Respond to customer phone calls and email inquiries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

  • Delivering responsive, professional service to external customers
  • Coordinating clearly with Credit, Field Operations, and Shipping to keep orders moving

Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • More than one year of customer service experience in a call center setting, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
  • Experience with Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP)
  • Order entry or order management experience in a manufacturing or medical device environment
