Join our Team!

We are seeking a Project Estimator to join our Construction team in Saskatoon, SK. In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for petroleum construction projects, ensuring compliance with PetroService standards and customer requirements. You'll collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver timely, profitable quotations and support project management activities.

As a Project Estimator, you will:

  • Prioritize and manage quotation requests from customers.

  • Review RFQ documentation, project scope, drawings, and specifications.

  • Prepare accurate quotes based on tender documents and technical requirements.

  • Collaborate with sales teams and technical specialists to ensure bid compliance.

  • Enter and manage quote data using ERP tools (e.g., GP, Quadra).

  • Follow up on submitted bids and assist in post-bid reviews.

  • Maintain documentation for auditing and future reference.

  • Stay current with industry trends and vendor updates.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • High School Diploma required; College/University diploma in Business or related field preferred.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in estimating or construction.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and ERP systems preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
