Description
Under general supervision, the Pricing Analyst II provides analytical, quantitative, and financial cost modeling assistance in support of Sales, Account Management, and the management team. This position develops and delivers externally facing pricing materials, including responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), generation of renewal pricing proposals, and generation of new business pricing proposals.
What You'll Do:
As the Pricing Analyst II, you will:
  • Prepare, develop, and deliver new business and renewal pricing proposals and supporting documentation.
  • Perform and deliver analytical, quantitative, and financial cost modeling to clients and prospects in collaboration with senior members of the team, Strategic Account Executives, and Clinical Account Executives
  • Perform variance analysis reports for newly implemented and renewed clients to measure accuracy of forecasts and identify potential risks to the company's financial interests.
  • Develop and formulate pricing related programs for new and existing clients and provide analytical consultation for project work where needed.
  • Assist proposal team with responding to complex RFPs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the annual budgeting process for new business revenue and cost of sales and perform variance analysis on monthly performance of new business against budgeted amounts.
  • Produce and maintain financial and operational dashboards related to new business and renewals, including key profitability metrics and interactive reports.
  • May direct the work of others or manage processes and programs. Build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Solve a range of straightforward problems. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience; concentration in math, statistics, or actuarial science preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience completing complex analysis using Excel in combination with SQL, R, Python, Alteryx, and/or PowerBI.
  • Statistical/analytical analysis in healthcare field and/or analysis of claims data preferred.

Competencies:
  • Able to adjust to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong presentation skills including written, visual, and verbal formats to a variety of internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to understand and convert raw data from systems and databases into useful reporting.
  • Excellent technology skills, including MS Excel, MS Word, and self-service query and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to listen critically and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced problem analysis skills to include the use of mathematical concepts to validate results.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and present significant amounts of information with an attention to detail and accuracy.
