Eaton is currently seeking a Pricing Manager to join its team. This hybrid role can be located in Beachwood, OH, Menomonee Falls, WI, Moon Township, PA, or Raleigh, NC. This exciting opportunity provides ownership of pricing strategy across the Industrial Controls Division portfolio during a significant commercial transformation. The role directly influences growth, profitability, pricing excellence, and key commercial decisions through data-driven insights and cross-functional leadership.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year.

What you'll do:
Industrial Controls Division is undergoing a significant commercial transformation, and pricing strategy plays a critical role in translating business objectives into actionable commercial strategies that drive profitable growth.
This evolution requires deeper integration between pricing strategy, product management, and commercial execution. The Pricing Manager serves as a strategic business partner, helping the organization proactively identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve business performance through data-driven insights and informed commercial decision-making.
The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across the Industrial Controls Division portfolio to support growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives. As the division's pricing subject matter expert, this role translates market, customer, competitive, and financial insights into actionable pricing recommendations that improve price realization, optimize pricing and commercial programs, and enhance business performance. Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and centralized pricing organizations, the Pricing Manager helps ensure pricing decisions align with business objectives while supporting forward-looking planning, commercial execution, profitable growth, and the continued development of pricing excellence across the division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Develops and executes product line pricing strategies aligned with division growth, profitability, competitive positioning, and customer value objectives while supporting long-term business and portfolio strategies.
2. Partners with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to evaluate market conditions, competitive dynamics, customer segmentation, cost trends, and value propositions in support of pricing strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer value.
3. Leads annual and multi-year pricing roadmap development, establishing prioritized initiatives that support strategic growth objectives, operating plans, profit plan commitments, and long-term market positioning.
4. Recommends and implements pricing actions including annual price increases, targeted pricing initiatives, competitive responses, and adjustments related to changing market conditions, input costs, tariffs, supply chain disruptions, and evolving customer requirements.
5. Monitors pricing performance against established objectives, evaluates pricing attainment and effectiveness, communicates results to leadership, and recommends actions that improve price realization, profitability, and business outcomes.
6. Conducts price-volume-mix (PVM) analyses and evaluates pricing, rebate, discount, and customer profitability drivers to identify trends, quantify commercial impacts, and support pricing-related business decisions.
7. Analyzes pricing performance, rebate programs, customer agreements, discounts, and other commercial programs to proactively identify opportunities, mitigate risks, improve profitability, and reduce margin leakage.
8. Provides pricing guidance and recommendations for strategic customer opportunities, special pricing requests, competitive situations, and deal negotiations while balancing customer value, growth objectives, market positioning, and profitability considerations.
9. Supports product portfolio, lifecycle, and commercialization decisions by evaluating pricing implications associated with new product introductions, portfolio expansion opportunities, rationalization initiatives, and changing market conditions.
10. Partners with centralized pricing organizations to ensure effective execution, measurement, governance, and continuous improvement of pricing initiatives and capabilities.
11. Provides pricing insights and recommendations that support forecasting, strategic planning, annual operating plans, and business reviews, ensuring pricing assumptions and implications are appropriately reflected in key business decisions.
12. Leads efforts to advance pricing excellence through standardized processes, performance measurement, decision frameworks, and best practices that improve pricing effectiveness, consistency, scalability, and organizational capability across the division.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in pricing or direct experience supporting pricing decisions and strategy.
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, product management, or commercial leadership teams
• No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH, Menomonee Falls, WI, Moon Township, PA, or Raleigh, NC. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Experience supporting product management, product marketing, commercial excellence, pricing, or strategic planning functions.
• Experience developing and executing value-based pricing strategies.
• Experience leading pricing initiatives that improved growth, profitability, margin performance, or price realization.
• Experience conducting price-volume-mix analysis, profitability analysis, market assessments, and competitive pricing evaluations.
• Experience evaluating rebate programs, discount structures, customer agreements, and other pricing mechanisms to improve price realization and profitability.
• Experience supporting forecasting, annual operating plans, strategic planning, or portfolio management processes.
• Experience presenting recommendations and influencing decisions at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience within industrial manufacturing, electrical, automation, distribution, or related markets.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, pricing, and analytics tools such as SAP, Salesforce, Vista, Zilliant, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
