Job Overview:
We have an opportunity available for a Customer Experience Associate on our team. This entry-level role supports the delivery of a positive customer experience by assisting with customer transactions, order processing, and communication activities. The Associate works closely with experienced team members to learn customer service processes, systems, and product knowledge while ensuring accuracy and responsiveness in daily responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in customer service operations. This position provides an opportunity to build a strong foundation in quotations, order entry, delivery coordination, and cross-functional collaboration while following established procedures and best practices.
This role is expected to develop proficiency in Customer Experience Associate core competencies through training, coaching, and hands-on experience, demonstrating continuous growth and increasing independence in performing assigned responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Support customer transactions, including assisting with quotations, order entry, and delivery coordination under guidance
  • Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide updates on order status and delivery schedules
  • Escalate customer issues to appropriate team members for resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support order processing and customer requests
  • Follow established processes, standard work, and SOPs to complete daily tasks
  • Maintain accurate data entry and documentation within SAP and other systems
  • Utilize tools and systems to track orders and assist with customer communication
  • Identify questions or issues and seek guidance to ensure accurate resolution
  • Participate in onboarding, training, and continuous learning to build product and process knowledge
  • Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical-related field is preferred

Core Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle internal and external contacts in a positive, assertive, and effective manner is required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time.
  • Work environment is in an office.
  • Ability to communicate information effectively through oral and written presentation. Can convey detailed instructions to others.
  • Able to operate a computer.


Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at one of our locations, depending on the candidate. Site will be in either Quincy, IL, Springfield, MO or Sedalia, MO. Travel is limited to rare circumstances only.
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 annually. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
