You will support the enrollment and eligibility process for group and individual customers. You will ensure accurate and timely updates to member and group information within administrative systems, while delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. You will handle multiple tasks and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid position located in Johnston, Iowa.

Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities
  • Process enrollment transactions including member eligibility, terminations, reinstatements, and accounting requests.
  • Review and reconcile routine electronic and paper eligibility files to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve enrollment-related inquiries from customers, agents, and internal teams via phone, email, or written communication.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and communicate highly visible service-related issues.
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of administrative systems, CRM and electronic tools to support team processes.
  • Actively participate in huddles and team's workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of team's responsibilities.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, quality feedback, and skill development opportunities.
  • Adhere to processing standards related to quality, documentation, and turnaround time.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required:
1. 0-1 year of experience in enrollment, benefits administration, or business operations, preferably in insurance.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
3. Professional written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
7. Basic math competency.
