7:30am - 6pm Monday through Friday
7:30am - 5pm Saturday

Job description:

The successful Counter Associate will be a quick learner, reliable and have the ability to multitask. In this position, the employee will interact with customers to check their clothing in and ready it for dry cleaning, laundry or alterations as well as check the clothing out when work is completed.  In addition to front counter responsibilities, the successful candidate must have the ability to organize orders and assemble pick-ups on-site.
The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet to ensure that the customer has a great experience with us. If you like to get involved in the business, this very busy retail establishment is the place for you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of customer focused staff in a well established dry cleaning business. 
Retail counter experience is required. Must know how to use a point-of-sale system and be able to process a customer transaction with a credit card or cash.

Qualifications:

  • Retail counter experience is required
  • Must have high degree of computer literacy, and know how to use a point-of-sale system and be able to process a customer transaction with a credit card or cash
  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced enviroment
  • Valid driver’s license is a must
  • Ability to stand for up to 5-7 hours
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • The successful Full Time Counter Associate will be a quick learner, reliable and have the ability to multitask
  • In this position, the employee will interact with customers to check their clothing in and ready it for dry cleaning, laundry or alterations as well as check out customer’s completed orders
  • Maintain top-tier quality and efficiency by mastering and managing all aspects of the customer experience
  • Ability to be smile, be friendly with customers & make a great first impression
  • Maintain high degree of regular and punctual attendance
  • Ensure all customer needs are satisfied in a prompt, efficient and professional manner
  • Accurately handle all money transactions
  • Help promote sales initiatives, new procedures, programs

  • • Strong communications skills (preference given to bi-lingual applicants)
