Customer Accounts Administrator at TSI
The Customer Accounts Administrator is responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing customer accounts in SAP, monitoring and managing customer-facing portals and supporting TSI.com registrations. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance, and smooth onboarding while serving as a bridge between Sales, Finance, Customer Support, and IT. The administrator will own end-to-end processes for customer master data, portal access, and updates, enabling clean transactions, timely billing and excellent customer experience.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:
  • Create and maintain customer master data (e.g., sold-to, ship-to, bill-to) in SAP. Ensure CRM data is consistent with ERP data. Execute data governance standards: naming conventions, duplicate prevention, and documentation of change history.
  • Manage account onboarding workflows, approvals, and checklists with Sales/Finance/Legal (e.g., credit checks, tax certificates).
  • Troubleshoot order-to-cash issues caused by master data (pricing, credit blocks, EDI mapping, billing failures).
  • Perform periodic data audits and cleansing; manage mass updates via SAP tools (LSMW/MDG) or controlled templates.
  • Administer customer portal accounts (e.g., Ariba, Coupa): user setup, access controls, profile updates, and credential management. Maintain portal content: contact info, payment methods, remittance details, product catalogs, etc.
  • Monitor portal notifications and queues (e.g., onboarding tasks, RFQs, PO acknowledgements, ASN/EDI status) to ensure timely response. Partner with TSI accounting team to ensure timely invoice processing via portals.
  • Act as primary liaison for customers' portal administration queries and self-service enablement. Track and resolve portal errors, submission failures, or configuration gaps; coordinate with IT on SSO or integration issues.
  • Partner with Sales, Accounting, Customer Support, and IT on onboarding, account changes, and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training materials for internal stakeholders.
What Do You Need?
Required
  • High School diploma or GED with three years' experience in customer master data management, accounts receivable, or customer support.
  • Demonstrated experience working in SAP Customer Master; familiarity with customer procurement portals or Business-to-Business(B2B) e-commerce platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa).
Desired
  • 2-year degree (technical or Associates) with one year of experience in customer master data management, accounts receivable, or customer support
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation with active listening and a solutions-focused approach
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workflows with accuracy and within deadlines
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and accountability in handling sensitive customer data
  • Strong data management skills, including attention to detail, data quality standards, and audit readiness
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and service delivery environments, including order-to-cash processes
  • Familiarity with B2B sales and customer account management practices
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $50,000 - $56,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
