The Customer Accounts Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all customer accounts in regard to getting projects ready for installation. In addition, the Customer Accounts Coordinator is responsible for any duties that are assigned to them by the Customer Account Management Manager. This role must have a solid understanding of the requirements needed for getting projects ready for installation and strong project management skills. This Customer Account Coordinator will report to the Customer Account Management Manager.
Essential Functions and Duties:
• Assisting in all things AHJ, HOA, and Utility interconnection/rebates related.
• Acting as a point of contact for all Sales and other Department questions and
inquiries.
• Submitting architectural improvement requests to AHJ, HOAs, (homeowner's
associations) and POAs (property owners associations) for solar panel installations,
including all necessary communication and follow-ups with AHJ, HOAs, and POAs.
• Submitting interconnection requests to utilities for solar panel installations, including all
necessary communication and follow-ups with utilities.
• Ensuring timely processing of AHJ, HOA, and interconnection applications.
• Tracking and submitting payments/receipts to Accounting.
• Working with the Customer Care, Resolutions, Operations teams, and the Sales team in
providing detailed updates on project statuses.
• Communicating with the Sales and Operations teams regarding details of projects,
including inquiring on necessary details.
• Work in collaboration with the Senior Customer Account Coordinators and Supervisors.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Customer Account Management Manager or Customer Accounts Supervisors
• Expected to work on-site in office Monday through Friday
• Collaborate on-site as needed with the Regional Operations Manager to facilitate regional project communication and scheduling readiness
• Manage regional queues to support the regional operations team if based at a satellite office
Qualifications:
  • High School/GED degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Prior solar/construction experience is strongly preferred
  • Must have Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office experience (including Excel and Word)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
