These programs are typically complex which requires unique solutions to launch quickly. We are the “go to” solutions provider for Ford Motor Company and Laser Access, specializing in CNC Machining and Assembly of custom engineered components. As a small company that is very team oriented, we believe that growth and opportunities are most important in the workplace. Here at Anderson Express, we are looking for applicants that want to grow with the company and see what is possible to achieve year after year.

Description

A CNC Machinist will be in charge of changeovers, tool offsets, replacing tooling, and training operators. They will have an in-depth knowledge of Machine Operation and Tooling. As well as the full understanding of technical drawings, metrology, and GD&T. CNC Machinists must be able to maintain a positive relationship with both Operators and Assembly Personal. An experienced CNC Machinist will be able to reduce downtime and add to an effective and efficient work force.

Expectations

  • Touch off tools and change tool offsets to ensure quality parts.

  • Inspect and replace damaged tooling.

  • Ability changeover to new jobs as needed.

  • Load programs for parts to be run.

  • Properly load and unload parts into machines.

  • Ability to check parts with various types of metrology equipment. Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gages, Thread Gages, Ring Gages, Refractometer, Scales.

  • Clock in and out of jobs and log time correctly.

  • Ability to qualify good and bad parts and sort accordingly.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Operator experience (Preferred)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be able to work in a shop setting

  • Good math and analytical skills

  • Good written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card')
