Job description

Build Your Career on Projects Worth Building.
Some people want to run the show.
Others want to be the reason the show runs smoothly.
At Ernst Brothers, we know that behind every well-executed project is an Assistant Project Manager keeping the details in order, the communication flowing, and the Project Manager one step ahead.
We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager who takes pride in being organized, dependable, and one step ahead, someone who makes the Project Managers around them better simply by being on the team.
This isn't a role where you'll just carry someone else's clipboard.
You'll work side by side with Project Managers on custom homes, renovations, and additions, handling the schedules, documentation, coordination, and client communication that keep complex projects moving.
What You'll Be Trusted to Do
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support the execution of some of the region's most demanding residential construction projects while building the skills to run them yourself one day.
  • Support Project Managers with schedules, milestones, and day-to-day project logistics.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to keep projects moving.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes, in Procore.
  • Assist with budgets, invoices, change orders, and procurement tracking.
  • Participate in site visits, documenting progress and helping uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Support client meetings and communications with the professionalism Ernst Brothers is known for.

Why Ernst Brothers?
You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Work alongside experienced Project Managers on complex, architecturally significant homes.
  • Be a trusted partner across every part of a project, from scheduling and procurement to documentation and client relations.
  • Work alongside some of the area's most respected architects, designers, engineers, and craftspeople.
  • Be part of a team that values organization, follow-through, and dependability.

This isn't a role for someone looking to coast.
It's for someone who takes ownership of the details: tracking down answers, following through on commitments, and showing up on jobsites ready to help solve problems.
It's for someone who takes initiative before being asked.
It's for someone who wants to be an essential part of a strong project management team.
If you're organized, dependable, and ready to be the person Project Managers count on, you'll fit right in.
What We Have to Offer?
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Retirement plan options
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Voted Best Place to Work
