We are looking for an experienced builder and project leader who can take projects from concept through completion while maintaining high standards in craftsmanship, safety, organization, and execution.
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for overseeing and participating in the design, planning, construction, installation, maintenance, and ongoing development of large-scale haunted attraction sets, structures, scenic environments, and immersive guest experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage large-scale build projects from concept through completion
  • Construct scenic environments, haunted attractions, themed structures, facades, props, and immersive experiences
  • Read and interpret plans, layouts, measurements, and construction concepts
  • Coordinate materials, timelines, labor needs, and project priorities
  • Work alongside ownership and creative teams to bring concepts to life
  • Operate tools, equipment, lifts, utility vehicles, and construction machinery safely
  • Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high-quality standard
  • Maintain organized workspaces, shop areas, tools, and inventory
  • Troubleshoot structural, operational, and build-related issues
  • Assist with seasonal maintenance, repairs, tear down, and future expansion projects
  • Work independently when needed while also collaborating within a team environment
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, contractors, inspectors, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, fabrication, scenic design, themed entertainment, or project management
  • Strong understanding of building methods, materials, and structural problem solving
  • Experience working with permits, inspections, and code compliance is highly preferred
  • Ability to think creatively and develop out-of-the-box solutions
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments
  • Leadership experience managing projects and crews

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working at heights, on lifts, ladders, and uneven terrain
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Full-time availability year-round

Compensation:
Pay is negotiable and dependent on experience.
This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing entertainment operation that values creativity, innovation, and people who know how to build things that leave a lasting impression.
