Create custom floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, holidays, corporate events, and everyday occasions.

Requirements:

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and arrange fresh flowers, plants, and decorative materials into bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and custom displays.
  • Ensure all arrangements meet quality and design standards.
  • Stay current with floral trends and seasonal designs.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies and flowers.
  • Assist customers in selecting flowers and design styles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, floral cooler, store, and store front.
  • Support setup and breakdown of events as needed.
  • Taking and logging orders
  • Help with deliveries
  • Handle multiple orders while meeting deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Processing flowers, plants and merchandise
  • Assist staff with ringing up customers
  • Ability to work with our on-line floral sales sites
  • Ability to dress appropriately for the retail environment
  • Assist with merchandising products for sale
  • Assist with incoming deliveries and products

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

  • Previous experience in floral design or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of flowers, greenery, and design techniques.
  • Experience creating arrangements for weddings, funerals, and special events is a plus.
  • Knowledge of flowers, plants, greenery, and seasonal availability.
  • Understanding of floral care and handling techniques to maintain freshness.
  • Familiarity with design principles such as color coordination, balance, and style.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • willingness to learn how to use/work on a computer and its Point-of-Sale Software
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for long periods of time
