Job description

Millwork Brothers Inc. is seeking an experienced Custom Finish Carpenter for high-end commercial millwork and casework fabrication.

This is not entry-level carpentry. We are looking for skilled craftsmen who can execute detailed work from shop drawings with precision and minimal supervision.


Please note: This is a shop-based custom carpentry position focused on fabrication, assembly, and detailed millwork. We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience building custom cabinetry, casework, fixtures, and/or architectural millwork in a shop environment. While field installation experience is valuable, this position is not an installer or general construction role, and candidates should have direct experience with custom fabrication and woodworking.

Responsibilities

  • Read and execute from engineering/shop drawings
  • Layout, fabricate, assemble, and build custom commercial casework
  • Mill and process hardwood lumber
  • Maintain quality standards and a clean workspace
  • Follow all safety guidelines

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in custom carpentry or commercial millwork
  • Strong knowledge of hardwood species and milling techniques
  • Experience with custom commercial casework fabrication
  • Ability to read blueprints independently
  • Skilled with hand tools and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Overtime as needed

Preferred

  • Experience in commercial or architectural millwork environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
