Komline-FluidQuip is growing, and we are seeking an Industrial Assembly Technician to join our team! This role will be responsible for assembling new equipment as well as rebuilding and repairing existing machinery. The position involves hands-on mechanical work, precision assembly, and the safe handling of heavy components in a shop environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Daily handling of heavy equipment, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading processes
  • Disassembles machines for repair, diagnoses issues, and cleans parts preparing for reassembly
  • Assembles machines according to print requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications to meet operational standards
  • Measures parts accurately and records values on inspection reports to ensure quality and compliance
  • Engages in various hands-on tasks as required by the job, maintaining a proactive and diligent approach
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team
  • Works effectively in a team environment, assisting coworkers with larger projects and ensuring collaborative success

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1–3 years of hands-on mechanical or assembly experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Previous experience in equipment assembly, rebuilds, or heavy mechanical repair preferred
  • Proficiency with wrenches, prybars, high-pressure cleaning equipment, power tools, overhead cranes, and fork trucks
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and prints
  • Physically able to work in an industrial shop environment, including lifting and moving heavy parts (with or without assistance)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to take accurate measurements and complete inspection records
