What You'll Do

This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment which produces charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets), bingo paper and bingo dabbers.

This position will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end assembly of specialized gaming products, including pull-tab vending machines, AccuCounters, and custom wire harnesses. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced production environment, this role requires mechanical aptitude, technical precision, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical instructions and schematics, and the capacity to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components efficiently. This role directly contributes to the production and assembly of critical gaming equipment that supports our charitable and lottery gaming clients.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Assemble mechanical subassemblies and vending modules by accurately positioning and securing individual parts using proper tools, fasteners, and standardized procedures. Ensure the correct integration of components according to detailed assembly documentation and quality standards.
  • Combine and align subassemblies into complete, operational vending machines, carefully ensuring that mechanical and electrical systems are correctly connected and function according to engineering specifications.
  • Perform comprehensive quality control inspections on finished machines, including both visual and functional assessments such as sample vending tests, to confirm that all systems operate within defined performance parameters.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues that arise during or after assembly. Apply structured problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis to identify failures and implement appropriate corrective actions or rework.
  • Construct and install wire harnesses by cutting, stripping, bundling, and soldering wires, and attaching terminals or fasteners as needed. Follow detailed wiring schematics to ensure proper routing and connection of electrical components, maintaining safety and durability standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation in compliance with 5S methodology and lean manufacturing practices. Actively contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and workplace efficiency.
  • Support the onboarding and development of less experienced team members by providing hands-on guidance and sharing best practices. Coordinate effectively with production leadership, engineers, and quality teams to meet production targets and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Execute additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by supervisors to ensure the timely completion of production goals and to support broader departmental objectives.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Industrial Technology, or related technical field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with electrical wiring and soldering techniques.
  • Proficient with standard computer applications and able to learn new software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities; capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available).
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
