Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in aerospace manufacturing and advanced composites; maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand Client's capabilities in design, prototypes, assembly jigs and turnkey production lines.
  • Present technical solutions - composite moulds, tooling, robotic production lines and custom systems - highlighting benefits for aerospace customers.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, proposals, NDAs, statements of work and compliance documents; coordinate contract negotiation and documentation.
  • Coordinate with compliance officers to ensure ITAR/export control requirements are met; manage controlled information workflows and recordkeeping.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities; identify opportunities for new offerings.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and events to promote Client's aerospace solutions and expand the network..
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions and compliance documentation; travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) as required.


Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, business development or sales support within aerospace, defense or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR) and capability to work in controlled environments.


Preferred:

  • Experience with composite materials, tooling or advanced manufacturing for aerospace applications.
  • Exposure to automation systems, robotic manufacturing, Thermoset and Thermoplastic composite technologies such as PPS/PEEK.
  • Existing network within U.S. aerospace OEMs or defense contractors; experience in mid sized manufacturing environments.


Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, materials) or related field.
