Job description

We are looking for an experienced Aerospace Paint Technician to paint precision aerospace and ground support equipment. This role plays a critical part in the success of our operations and offers the opportunity to contribute to a family-owned and growing company. Responsibilities:

  • Prime, and paint precision aerospace parts and components
  • Apply coatings using HVLP spray equipment and other tools (training provided)
  • Read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and process documentation
  • Conduct visual inspections for surface defects or coating inconsistencies
  • Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and workspace
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure workflow efficiency and deadlines
  • Track materials used and report any supply needs
  • Follow proper procedures for chemical and paint disposal
  • Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS9100, for example).
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S standards.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
