Custody Network Management refers to the process of overseeing and coordinating relationships with sub-custodians, agents, and depositories across various markets to ensure the safe and efficient holding, settlement, and servicing of global securities. Professionals in this field manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize network efficiency for financial institutions. Their responsibilities often include due diligence, selection, and monitoring of local custodians, as well as managing account openings, market changes, and operational processes. This role is critical for global banks and asset managers that require secure and reliable access to international financial markets.

What are some common challenges faced in a Custody Network Management role, and how can they be addressed?
