Custodial Associates often encounter challenges such as maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas, handling spills or biohazards, and managing time effectively to cover all assigned spaces. These challenges are typically addressed through thorough training in cleaning protocols, use of safety equipment, and clear communication with supervisors and team members. Many workplaces also implement checklists and shift rotations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and that no area is overlooked.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a custodial associate?

To thrive as a Custodial Associate, you need attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning procedures, and physical stamina, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
