Job Summary:
The lifeguards are responsible for the safety and general welfare of swimmers at the Curry College pool.
General Duties:
The primary duties are prevention, enforcing pool rules and responding to emergencies. Other duties include chemical testing of pool water, vacuuming and cleaning of the pool, completing daily report forms and ensuring safe and clean facilities
Requirements:
Licenses or certifications:
  • American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR Training.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year lifeguard experience.
  • CPR certification.
  • First Aid.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic Knowledge and Skills:
  • Follow college policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Hourly Rate:
$22.00 an hour
