Primary Purpose:

To lead in the development and implementation of Alvin ISD's curriculum, build campus instructional coaches' capacity, and serve as a leader for assigned content area.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Master's Degree preferred

Valid Texas teaching certification for assigned content area and level

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Possess deep knowledge and understanding of assigned content area

Communicate and demonstrate research-based instructional practices

Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Ability to build instructional capacity to support student achievement in content area

Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners

Experience:

2 plus years of Literacy Instructional Coach experience required

5 plus years of classroom experience

Leadership Experience 

Providing Professional Learning

Curriculum Writing

Expertise in Pre-Kindergarten 3rd Grade Literacy

Salary:  AP PG 4/ 225 Days
