Job Overview:
The Secondary Technology Curriculum Integration Coach will provide instructional leadership in the integration of technology to enhance student learning and engagement. This role supports classroom teachers in effectively embedding digital tools into curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. The coach will model best practices, provide professional development, and collaborate with educators to support 21st-century learning environments aligned with district goals and standards.ย
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Instructional Coaching & Support:
- Collaborate with secondary teachers to design and implement technology-rich, standards-based lessons.
- Model effective technology integration strategies during co-teaching or demonstration lessons.
- Provide ongoing, job-embedded coaching and feedback on technology use to support teaching and learning.
- Support interdisciplinary project-based learning initiatives using digital tools.

Professional Development:
- Plan, design, and facilitate workshops, webinars, and professional learning communities (PLCs) focused on digital learning and instructional technology.
- Offer individualized and small-group support for teachers at various proficiency levels with educational technology.
- Serve as a resource on emerging technologies and instructional best practices.

Curriculum & Resource Development:
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to integrate technology into district-adopted curriculum.
- Develop and curate digital resources, lesson plans, and learning materials aligned with district standards.
- Assist in evaluating digital content and tools for instructional value, accessibility, and alignment with learning objectives

Leadership & Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between school sites and district departments on technology integration initiatives.
- Participate in district committees related to digital learning, curriculum, and innovation.
- Collect and analyze data on instructional technology implementation and student outcomes.
- Support district initiatives such as 1:1 device programs, digital citizenship, and blended learning models.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Licensed Teacher in good standing working for Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation.
- Minimum of 3 years successful classroom teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
- Demonstrated experience integrating educational technology into classroom instruction.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace for Education, learning management systems, educational apps).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing professional development or instructional coaching.
- Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), ISTE Standards, and Common Core State Standards.
- Experience with 1:1 classroom environments or digital equity initiatives.
- Possession of a supplemental certification or credential related to educational technology (e.g., Google Certified Educator, ISTE Certification)
