Job description

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

  • Preparing course plans and materials
  • Delivering courses
  • Curriculum Development
  • Monitoring progress/attendance
  • Advising students
  • Recording grades and submitting reports
  • Full time nursing faculty lead lecture, lab, and clinical for pre-licensure ASN and BSN courses
  • Meeting the credentialing requirements compliant with state licensing agencies and regulatory boards
  • Participating in program, institution and community activities
  • Supporting the Program Director with programmatic accreditation

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

  • Hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing. Doctorate Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Current unrestricted State of Florida RN License
  • Full time nursing practice, minimum 2 years
  • Full time teaching experience, minimum 2 years preferred
  • Experience with learning outcomes assessments preferred
