Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Park Schools is a dynamic early childhood education center serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We offer a unique blend of Montessori and S.T.E.A.M. education, enriched with Spanish immersion, equine-assisted learning, Orton-Gillingham literacy instruction, and Singapore Math. Our mission is to foster independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through a child-centered, hands-on approach.
Position Overview
The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a cohesive, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Park Schools Montessori philosophy and integrated S.T.E.A.M. approach. This role ensures instructional consistency across all programs (Infant, Toddler, and Primary) while supporting teachers through training, coaching, and curriculum development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development & Implementation
  • Design and oversee a comprehensive curriculum integrating Montessori principles with S.T.E.A.M. education.
  • Ensure alignment across all age groups: Infants (6 weeks+), Toddlers (12 years), and Primary (35 years).
  • Incorporate key programs such as Spanish immersion, equine-assisted learning, Orton-Gillingham approach, and Singapore Math.
  • Develop lesson frameworks, instructional guides, and classroom resources.

Instructional Leadership
  • Train, mentor, and support teachers in curriculum delivery and classroom practices.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure fidelity to Montessori practices, including prepared environments, hands-on learning, and student-led pacing.
  • Assessment & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish and monitor assessment systems based on observation and developmental milestones.
  • Analyze student progress and use data to refine curriculum and instruction.
  • Support individualized learning plans for diverse learners, including those with language-based learning differences.

Program Coordination
  • Collaborate with school leadership to align curriculum with school goals and policies.
  • Ensure integration of practical life skills, sensory activities, and interdisciplinary learning.
  • Support special programs such as equine therapy and enrichment activities.

Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain curriculum documentation in compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure curriculum materials and teaching practices meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Minimum of 35 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
  • Experience with Montessori education (certification preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of S.T.E.A.M. integration in early learning.
  • Familiarity with Orton-Gillingham, Singapore Math, or similar structured literacy and math approaches is a plus.
  • Experience in teacher training, coaching, or instructional leadership.
  • Without a degree but with 10 years of experiences
