Job description

Audubon is currently seeking an HSE Manager - Renewables to join our team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To provide functional support, guidance and leadership from the HSE Department to Audubon company-wide.
  • Liaise with the Audubon Enterprise HSE office to ensure that HSE systems are implemented and complied with.
  • Provide instructor lead training. Lead the implementation of all HSE requirements.
  • Work with Audubon Management Team to create a safety culture.
  • Audit Shop and work environments to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with the Audubon Enterprise quality office to ensure that Quality systems are implemented and complied with.
  • Lead the implementation of quality systems for Audubon.
  • Audit Audubon Business Units.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:
  • All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies' Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
  • Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
  • Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
  • Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
  • Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Administer the Corporate/ /Client health, safety and environmental programs at multiple job sites.
  • Advise project management in the health, safety and environmental areas.
  • Coach mentor and support the Audubon Field Solutions Management Team in all health safety security and environmental matters.
  • Conduct surveys, audits, investigations, and gather information and data as required.
  • Compile and maintain project related HSE Performance reports.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including, but not limited to OSHA, MMS, EPA and company policies and procedures.
  • Initiate and maintain safety awareness programs to improve employee awareness.
  • Provide guidance to project management through interpretation of the company/client/regulatory requirements.
  • Properly conduct and document investigations of project and office accidents and incidents.
  • Ensure corrective actions are correctly identified and followed to completion.
  • Analyze safety concerns and recommend solution to those concerns.
  • Monitor Subcontractor compliance.
  • Monitor HSE performance on projects.
  • Ensure that appropriate Project Emergency Response arrangements are in place and current.
  • Provide guidance to all regional safety committees.
