Medical Director -Psychiatry

Curated Mental Health Manhattan, New York, United States (On-site)

Curated Mental Health, a boutique mental health outpatient practice dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive psychiatric care. Our services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, second opinion diagnostic consultations, intensive outpatient treatment, medication management, and cutting-edge interventional treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Esketamine REMS, and, for select highly treatment-refractory cases, intravenous ketamine. Our commitment to excellence in patient care, innovative treatment modalities, and a compassionate, holistic approach sets us apart. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to lead our clinical team and further our mission of delivering exceptional mental health services.

Option for Full-time with 70% Clinical Caseload, or a Part-time position focusing on leadership, supervision, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clinical Duties (70%):

- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and interventional treatments.

- Provide direct patient care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

- Stay abreast of and incorporate the latest research and evidence-based practices in psychiatry and behavioral health treatment.

- Administrative Duties (30%):

- Oversee the clinical operations of the practice, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.

- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance (QA) and quality improvement (QI) initiatives to continually enhance patient care and outcomes.

- Lead educational efforts within the practice, including training and development for clinical staff.

- Participate in weekend calls every three months or provide emergency coverage as needed.

Qualifications Required:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health.

- Board certification in Psychiatry.

- Licensure in the State of New York.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.

- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and ethical standards.

- Strongly Preferred:

- Additional fellowship training and experience in Addiction Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison (C&L) Psychiatry.

- Experience in administering and overseeing interventional psychiatric treatments such as TMS, Esketamine, and IV ketamine
