Job description

Quirk Auto Dealers is seeking an experienced and motivated Dodge Cummins Diesel Technician to join our growing service team. This position is ideal for a skilled diesel technician with strong diagnostic and repair abilities focused on Ram trucks and Cummins diesel engines. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career at the best dealership group in New England! Our Truck Center has opportunities for inspired and motivated individuals who have the desire and passion to succeed. We want to speak with you regarding a career in automotive service.
Job Duties:
  • Consulting with service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements
  • Examining vehicles to determine wear and extent of damage or malfunctions
  • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturers performance specifications
  • Ensuring that the shop is in excellent condition in regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conducting periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service
  • Test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1+ year experience with Dodge Ram trucks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • State inspection license preferred
  • A positive attitude
  • Strong willingness to learn
